This lid thermometer is already in your Monolith Kamado Grill when delivered.
The thermometer is universally designed for the Monolith series. Due to the considerable differences between the cooking chamber and the outside temperature, the thermometer can sometimes “fog up” from the inside. This condition is normal and the moisture that evaporates over time.
